Help Rezound wont connect to WiFi while in Airplane mode since ICS

Upgraded to ICS now when I put the phone in airplane mode and turn on WiFi I get a message that reads something like "need data service to connect". When I go into WiFi settings and click on my network and press connect, nothing happens. Is anyone else having this issue? I mean aesthetically this update is nice, but what positive, additional functionality does it provide?

Wow nevermind. Just realized that I have to turn WiFi off, then put the phone in Airplane Mode, and then turn WiFi back on. Never had to turn Wifi off first on Gingerbread.
