rhapsody and amazon mp3 trouble with sd card

stopdog

Lurker
I am trying to download my amazon mp3s and rhapsody playlists to the sd card on my sprint note 2. Amazon may be a lost cause, but it should work with rhapsody. I need to change the path, but whenever I do so, I get an error message. Can anyone help? Thank you. I hope I am asking this in the right area. I am on sprint if that matters.

It used to be so easy on earlier versions of android when I could just go into applications and choose where to move stuff - that option seems to be missing now.
Even my pictures seem to be on the device and not the card. How does one put stuff on the sd card in this version? (I am coming from an old evo first generation)

I'm going to partially help here. To set your SD card as the default and not the internal memory of the phone as the default for pictures and videos you record, open the camera app. From there go to settings amd scroll down towards the bottom and you see the option to have your pictures/vids default to the sd card amd not the phone. You'll get a confirmation of this via a little SD card icon on your screen will in the camera app. Dont worry, that wont be visible in your pics/vids.

To transfer files or other transferable item from the phone to sd card or vise vera, go into the apps folder located on your far right on your bottom screen dock. Look for an app that says "Files" and open it. From there you will see two folders, one says sdcard0 the other extsdcard. The extsdcard folder is your actual sd card pathway. From this file app you can transfer almost anything between your phone/sd card.

Stopdog- I use Rhapsody as well. It is actually pretty easy to set the songs to the sd card for offline play. In the Rhapsody app, go to settings. Then go to "Advanced Settings". There is then an option that says "Choose Music Download Location". There is also a "How to Section" right under that option for step by step instructions. I hope that helps!
