Help Ring/notification volume is behaving erratically.

Ring volume is behaving erratically.
Mainly while listening to music via bluetooth. Sometimes the only reason you know you have a call/notification is music volume drops.

Both ring and notification volumes are set at full

Perhaps nobody has had same problem, and so can't suggest a definite fix. Have you tried resetting it, checked for OS updates? Which is pretty generic advice for something that's acting funky and erratically.
 
I guess so. Yes I've done the usual, and as you say its very adhoc. Txt notifications were blaring through the blutooth speakers yesterday. So were calls, barr one were the volume just dropped to almost nil.
 
I've had 4txt mgs, and 2 calls this morning. While listening to music connected via Bluetooth.

Everytime the music volume has dropped to bearly audible, been the only indication of incoming comms
 
Had the phone next to me today. On receipt of a call or txt. Music from Bluetooth speakers drops, and bearly audible set notification tune can be heard.

Also if Bluetooth speakers are still connected by not playing music, incoming call/txt comes over speakers and through phones speakers at preset volume level......
