Help Ringer volume TOO LOUD on lowest setting!!!

I have searched on the forums and Google as well... most posts I see are that the volume is not loud enough... mine is SOOOOO loud even at the lowest setting before vibrate... on BOTH stock adn downloaded media. Anyone have any ideas??? What can I do?

So far loving the S3 but not liking MetroPCS at all! So many problems and I've only been a customer sicne Monday afternoon!

No advice on the volume, but as for MetroPCS I suggest you run and run fast as far away as you can. Metro PCS could suck thhe chrome off a Harley in two minutes flat.

What you can do is use some sound tool (like Audacity) to edit the ringtone sound file. Sound tools can lower the volume of a sound file. Then copy the new ringtone back to your phone and select the new quieter ringtone as your ringtone.
