Help Ringtone and google talk issues

google talk on my htc inspire continues to stop working. I push the talk icon and it just flashes; nothing happens. Popping the battery fixes it, bit it is at least twice a week.

Also, my main ringtone keep defaulting back to the att basic one and my assigned ones (from Zedge) change on their own.

ATT said they'd send me a new phone but i am not tech savvy enough to copy all my contacts and pictures, etc. I dread setting up another phone.

HTC Sync should help keep things simple in terms of setting the new phone up. All of your extra goodies are stored on the SD card as well...so shouldn't really be an issue. I sync all my contacts to google so that i never have to set up a new phone...just log in to google and sync. I used to use the google calendar as well, but Cozi seems to work way better in my house!
