How To Ringtone de-assignment

A friend assigned a ringtone to a contact I have stored in my phone.
How do I delete this ringtone? Or how do I change it to another ringtone?

Open your contacts and select the contact with the ringtone associated. Using the menu key, select options, and there you can change the ringtone - making it default will de-associate the current ringtone and make the calls from that contact ring like any other phone call, or, if you choose, you can pick a different ringtone that will be unique for this contact.
