Ringtone droid 2

My ringtone on my droid is always blaring and i always hav to unlock it and pull donw the notifications bar to stop the ringtone to stop a ringtone fro a message or notification but im wondering how i can just click a button on the outside like the camera button or volume button or power button to stop the ringtone so is there a setting for that or an app or anything on how to annswer and stop your rington by hiting and external button like when its in your pocket for instence????

After reading this a couple of times, and deciphering, I think you are asking if there is a way to stop your phone from ringing w/o picking it up? If that is what you are asking, then yes. Hitting the volume button.

Yes while the screen is off but on my droid it doesnt work tht way ? so idk what to do it doesnt it just sits there still ringing? i will click every external button multiple times and it will keeep ringing?

It is supposed to. Take it in, because that would mean it is faulty

Lol, loomer. I think he means that he can hit an external button and stop a phone calls ringtone but not his notification ringtone. I am having the same problem. I am looking for a solution as well. During work, I would like to be able to hit an external button like the power, volume or even camera to stop my notification tones from playing. I make really loud and long tones due to my place of work, but am also in quiet meetings often. Any apps that can have this option?
