Ringtone Galaxy Ace

I've got the mp3 file on my Galaxy Ace that I want as my ringtone. And I believe I've set it as the Ringtone in Settings. But it doesn't play with incoming calls. What's going on and how do I fix it?

Also, what is the difference between Phone Ringtone and Default Ringtone?

Please don't tell me I have to set the ringtone for each Contact individually as either 'Phone' or 'Default'!!!!
