Help ringtone volume adjustment

[tmzbeme]

why does the ringtone volume go from too quiet on level 6 to loud to room-filling boombox level on level 7??

there should be one step in between ....6 is way to low and 7 is way to high.

using JM2 ....maybe it's fixed on a later firmware?

is there any other way to add a more sensitive adjustment?

I don't really hear a huge difference between the max volume setting and the "second last" max volume setting, but I guess this is the kind of thing that is just a matter of personal opinion.
You can try this:
AudioManager Widget v2.1.1 Application for Android | Multimedia

I don't know if it allows intermediate settings, but it is a free app, so there's nothing to lose in giving it a try.
