Help Ringtone volume ICS

My s2 is running ICS stock. When I get a call, the ringtone started on low volume for a couple seconds, then the volume would go back to normal.

anyone experience this?

Actually that happens for me and I am on GB. Always thought it was normal. Most people won't notice because you won't be able to hear it if its at low volume. You only notice it if the phone is on the table right in front of you.

Either that or there is a setting somewhere where it controls this and I just forgot setting it...

so this is considered normal? Like a default settings for ICS on the S2?

It doesnt really bother me. Just thought there was something wrong with my phone

Did it on my s2 and HTC. Think out is so you have a moment to answer it before it rings loud

Yes this is a 'feature' of the phone, probably built into Android if it's on other phones also.

this is a "feature" on many samsung phones, dating back many years. you can get rid of it with a mod if you're on a custom rom.

ahhl. I see. I didn't quite notice it when I was using my ATT variant of the GS2.
