I uninstalled the ringtone I was using as a default ringtone and it is still the tone that rings even though the icon is gone as well and I've selected another tone to be the default ringtone. Samsung Galaxy S II

A ringtone is just a sound file used as a ringtone. Are you using an app to set up ringtones? We need more information to be able to help. Suggest you post another question with more details or subscribe to the forums and post a question in the s2 forum.
