How do I put new ringtones on my phone from my computer? Like where do I put them so that I can use them on the phone?

there's an app called ringdroid. you can edit music files you have on your phone and use them as ringtones (it puts them in the appropriate folder) I can't remember where it is off the top of my head.

I use mxyer. But I started using the zedge app this month. It's simple to use and has a lot of ringtones.

Go to your SD card, go to 'media' look for/make a folder called 'ringtones' paste or drag whatever ringtones you want in there and they should appear when you try to select a ringtone. Make sure you named the folders properly! No caps!

If you simply copy ringtones to your phone, they will be available as phone ringtones, but not notifications for texting or GoogleTalk. Downloading the Handcent app (whether you end up actually using this as your texting app or not) will make all your media become available for notifications when you go to change them in your settings.

This isn't always the case, trust me I've had my fair share of struggles with my ringtones.
