Watching a guy on the TV the other day..his argument was " How can the makers of Android phones justify charging

Why single out Android? I don't notice top-flight iOS/Windows/RIM handsets being much cheaper. All that power and versatility in a small device costs mucho dinero in terms of R&D alone, let alone making it all work well together.

Nobody is forced to buy the things. Don't feel the cost is justified? Then either scale down your ambitions or go without. Life will go on regardless.
