I would like to get some more of my DVDs ripped to an Archos 70. I did do some not long after I got it and found it quite easy with some great instructions from the xda developers site. Unfortunately, when I tried to do some more this week it said that the DVD Ripper option had expired. This is odd as I was using DVD HD Decrypter which the program says is free and never expires. Can anyone cast any light on this please?
I've tried Handbrake and have managed to rip a DVD to my PC but don't know what to do with it now. All the instructions I can find refer to burning the ripped version to a disk but that's not what I want to do. Also the ripped version is a lot bigger than the DVDFab version.
Please can anyone advise as to what is the best way to proceed here? If there's anything else good, I would prefer a free version but wouldn't mind paying a small amount (thought it was cheeky of DVDFab to say it was free and now ask for $50). Also I have an 8Gb Ipod Touch so if I could do one rip which I could copy to both the Archos and the Touch that would be great.
I would like to get some DVDs onto the Archos before our summer holidays as we have long drives to do and it's great for the kids. Would be really grateful for any help as I'm getting fed up with it all now!
