Hi everybody.... Please forgive me as I'm new here and just purchased a Samsung galaxy s3. Now on first impression I live this new phone but I've a problem. Whenever I press the screen I hear the water ripple sound but the actual screen doesn't ripple as supposed. Pardon my ignorance but any ideas would be greatly appreciate.

There is a setting in security>Lockscreen Settings i believe that allows you to set the ripple effect on or off
i think i got the same problem but im not sure if the water ripples in your device doesn't show at all , or only in the lock sreen .
mine just ripples in the lock screen but then it doesn' ripple at all like just by touching or passing through pages
i tried alot to change it through the settings , but i couldn't work it out.
i hope someone can help .

I do not think the home screen is supposed to ripple u can get a live wallpaper called fluid which would let u have the ripple effect on ure home screen also
Help please! The ripple effect on my lock screen is not working. I don't have live wallpaper, and I have already tried selecting the "ripple effect" from the menu. I cannot get the ripple effect to work with the "motion unlock" function, where u have to tilt to unlock. I've tried to reset the device, and restart it multiple times. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
