Riptide 2

Shocky

Android Expert
It's much like the first one but with updated graphics, ability to update your ride and multiplayer which seems to work fairly well so fair.

Good game and worth a buy if you overlook performance issues.

Slightly annoyed they are still continuing to optimize for the latest tegra devices(Tegra 4) so don't expect it to run smooth on anything available right now. Runs horribly on my Nexus 7, almost unplayable.

It's reasonable on the Galaxy S4 but noticeable slow downs, I'm right in thinking there are no Tegra 4 phones or tablets right? only nvidia shield?

Yeah, just shield at the moment, although I'm sure there's a ZTE Tegra 4 device in the pipeline.

How horrible is horrible on the Nexus 7? I was tempted to pick this up, but won't if it's really laggy.

Just about playable but not a great experience. If you have a fast connection give it a try, if your not happy with the performance get a refund.

There are allot more visual settings to tweak than the first one so you would have to experiment a bit. :)

I dropped shader quality to low and lowered resolution on my Galaxy S4 and the framerate still isn't what I would call smooth.
