Help Rise backs out of text message screen

When I'm texting, my Kyocera Rise has started backing out of the text message screen while I'm still using it. It will go back to the list of all messages, then back to the home screen, cutting me off during use. I have tried clearing the caches, rebooting the phone, taking the battery out, etc. Nothing works. What can I do?

Are you accidentally pressing the 'back' key? I had that issue a lot when I was using the on-screen keyboard. Brush that and back out of the app all the time... Obnoxious.

Use handcent or something equivalent from the market and see what happens.Also make sure your screen is clean fingerprint and smudge wise as forementioned interferes with the touch sensors
