RoadRunner users - need email app suggestion

Mayhem

In addition to having GMail, I have a RoadRunner account. I use that excusively for craigslist and would rather not have the emails from that account pulled into gmail.

Can anyone suggest another app? I tried K9 but couldn't get it working.

Thanks.

It's fairly straightforward to use the standard email client.
Manually set the email server to a POP3 server
Use "pop-server.austin.rr.com" for incoming.
Use "smtp-server.austin.rr.com" for outgoing
Uncheck the " require sign in" for outgoing email as it shouldn't be needed

The regular email client works fine for my roadrunner with the exception of not deleting emails from the server or creating alternate folders.

Make sure you're using the correct settings for your area.

Mine are:
incoming pop3-server.roadrunner.com
smtp smtp-server.roadrunner.com

Here's how I have it set up

user @ austin.rr.com
password
pop3-server.austin.rr.com
Port 110
Security type: none

Only options for security shown are none, ssl, ssl (accept all), tls and tls (accept all)

I'm using the Email program that was included by Verizon.

I got the following info from TWC's support:

Incoming: pop-server.austin.rr.com
Outgoing: mobile-smtp.austin.rr.com
Outgoing authentication set to password
Username complete (user @ austin.rr.com)
Uncheck SSL
smtp port should be 587 and pop should be 110.

It turns out TWC is wrong. mobile-smtp.austin.rr.com doesn't work. Setting it up the same as in Outlook (smtp-server.yada yada) worked.

Thanks guys.
