Roaming on Verizon

I have an Evo 3D. And I checked Verizon's coverage map and they totally sweep over my neighborhood with their 3G voice and data. On Sprint I fluctuate between two bars and none in my neighborhood. Can I make my phone use Verizon? I heard about custom PRLs that can do that, do I need to be rooted to use them? Are there PRLs that let me switch between Sprint and Verizon at will on my phone?

yes.. it can be done... on the the EVO. it might require a dev to configure it for e3d.

yes.. you will need to be rooted.

yes.. it will help you get better connection.

warning: if you use it enough.. sprint will see you because this will cost sprint $$ as you use verizon towers. verizon will charge sprint for the use. eventually sprint will terminate your service.

Also keep in mind if you're roaming, your service features like any mobile any network won't count, and your anytime minutes will be docked.

doesn't sprint also put a limit on data roaming? is that a hard or soft limit? in that, they monitor for overages until they see a pattern (soft) or they are able to hard limit where you cannot go beyond once reached.
