Help Roaming outside US?

I am currently in the UK and my phone is not connecting to Virgin UK.

I am using Mobster Lite V3.

I have Roaming set to Mobile Network set to Automatic, the Roaming setting doesnt seem to stick.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

I could be wrong about this but the EVO V is a CDMA phone, and the UK is on the GSM frequencies

Virgin Mobile USA phones don't function outside the country, and have no affiliation with Virgin Mobile in other countries. There is no roaming available.

Those are rates for calling to other countries, from the US. It's somewhere in their terms of service that they only work in the US. Yeah, I actually read the whole thing :-/
