Also the free version comes with adverts but you can buy a license for $9.99 to get rid of them.

Nice.

Only thing, i it turns the beta into an icon that just links to their website. Beta still seems to be installed, but it doesn't run anymore.

Also, Rockplayer (market) is ad supported or you can a license key for $9.99

Does anybody know why I would require permissions for phone state and identity?

RockPlayer (ARMv7) requires these permissions:
Network communication
full Internet access
Phone calls
read phone state and identity, read phone state and identity
System tools
prevent phone from sleeping

Yeah.. finally get the download link.. It's in market. BTW.. what is the difference between paid and free rock player?

I'm all for supporting developers for good programs, but $10 bucks is a little steep. Does anyone know if the purchased version removes the "R" icon on the upper left hand corner, maybe that will tilt my decision to buy.

hmm..videos run like crap on my Mytouch Slide using rockplayer. I tried the ArmV6 and the ArmV7 versions and they both run really laggy. Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions?

I've downloaded the version for my Legend but although the picture is fine the sound is just very loud static, even on videos filmed with the Legends video camera. Something isn't right.

R logo will hide once activated after purchase. We keep the free version a useful tool instead of a demo carefully, hope you enjoy it.
