Root ROGERS stock, upgraded to 2.3.3 - Root-able?

Hey! I hope I am not being embarrassingly redundant with my first post...

I JUST used Kies to update my Rogers branded Captivate i896 to Ginger 2.3.3. It seems to be working well! I would like root access, and unfortunately SuperOneClick does not seem to be working (for a lot of people it is freezing at step #6, GingerBreak, which is what is happening with me as well.)

Has anyone figured out a way to root this version of Gingerbread for the Rogers Captivate?

If so, I'll gladly take a link to another thread where this has been answered and delete this thread.
