Rogers "Travel" Data Plans?

Seems Rogers slipped in these new plans good for Canada AND the US!

A bit more expensive, but cheaper than the roaming rates. Kinda cool eh?

For $5 more you get us/canada. That's cool enough for sure. But what is with the "unlimited social site...."? I don't understand that unless they are filtering your requests and not charging for those destinations. In the old days that was about using their portal and walled garden. Charging differently based on destination is exactly what we don't want no matter how they slowly move toward that. That is a very bad slippery slope. but the cross border data is cool.

But I still wonder why an ipad data plan gives you 5 times the data for the same price? That's all I want, 5G for $35 and no goofy complications I see for every other plan.
