Sounds decent, but in practice I wouldn't go playing games on it at full detail.

But, the processor and RAM are beefy enough to not lag general Windows operations.

The specs are fantastic, compared to my cuttingedge10yearsago HP, which somehow turned out to be faster than the two lemons I got on eBay in the last year. I went to Costco today and they didn't have the 500t system, just a W7HP tower. So I have to (a) think up a reason that I actually need it, (b) order it online by Monday and (c) convince myself not to freak and return it.

I still think it's amazing to see more and more W7 PCs as W8s limp along.
