[ROM][2.3.6][XWKK5] UltraToxic Rom v8.0

nice that someone finally decided to continue Litening rom :) Original developer is still missing...
 
I considered this a while back, ki3 perhaps, but decided to give it a miss.
As check ROM 4 is imminent I will probably end up using it, but I may well give this one a pop in the meantime. It's the Odin flash that puts me off so I may convert it to a flashable zip first.
 
Good point butty I keep forgetting that.
Would it flash under the "system" option?

how would you do a full wipe before hand using mobile Odin tho?
 
I'm pretty sure that's were it goes. I haven't tried flashing firmware and roms with it yet, only kernels. However if you try and put the wrong file in the wrong partition you will be told it can't be put there. So if it allows you to input it into system that its where it goes.
 
I assume a full wipe etc can then be performed in cwm after the flash without affecting the ROM itself.

I don't see why that would be a problem. I was going to give it a go myself but I can't get the rom to download. All I get is an empty file
 
Oh well, I'm downloading now.
It says to flash the stock rom first, which is KI3? Not sure why?
I'm just downloading the ultratoxic file, as I'm not wasting a further 282Mb download for nothing.

I will let you know my findings later.....

oh well. I cant extract the .md5 file. 7zip says "unsupported compression method"
I wonder if I need to update my version of 7zip...

installed and testing in progress :) as far as now everything works smooth & fast (looks nice - Litenin theme :D ) + its stable on Siyah 2.2p but i might consider 2.3 in a while.
