From what I saw, it is not just me that the capacitive buttons do not work.

For those who use the L70 D325, the ROMs with support for the OMS/Substratum. The buttons do not work.

NOTE: it did Not work with me, but may work for you, but it is a good tip, for those who want to install them.

This ROM was released prior to TWRP 3.0.3-0.
Then it can be installed with TWRP 3.0.2-0.
However, this is not what determines whether it can be installed with one version or another.

If TWRP (for your device model) is always flushed in the right place, the most that can happen is an incompatibility with ROM. And, you will have to downgrade or upgrade to a new version. For the purpose of testing.

For my d325f8 the TWRP 3.0.3-0 is buggy. I did not know why!

AOSP Extended is an AOSP-OMS based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. Enter in Settings --> menu "UI & UX" --> "Extensions"
for the Wake on Plug settings.

Have you backed up your contacts to sdcard before upgrading to ROM?
Import of saved (exported) .vcf file.

If you have already imported from the SIM card, your contacts may have been moved to the device.
The SIM card may have been emptied through the use of the duplicate contacts merge function. Among other possibilities.

I recommend you make TWRP backup of this AOSP;
Restore your TWRP backup from the previous ROM;
Start the system and export your contacts to the SDcard;
And, return to AOSP.

I think I confused Lineage with AOSP. I was messing with her settings these last few days, but as a change of ROM, like change of clothes, to do my tests, I thought I had been at AOSP. I was convinced I saw it in the settings within Extentions. But not.

Update to 3.2 !.

Note: The rom comes without root access, because if it was integrated from the compilation (the options were SuperSU and Magisk), changed the current recovery by some other integrated rom.

To get root access, I recommend flashing the latest SuperSU ZIP (2.79): http://www.supersu.com/download, or if you prefer, use Magisk.

Changelog is available in Settings -> About Phone -> Change Log.
