Root Rom advice??

Im not sure what rom to choose anymore, just wanted to know what you guys use as your daily, or which rom has the best features/ smoothness, thanks!
 
Since receiving my dev phone from Prinny

I have been rolling with CM7.2.0 build 20120726. It's the longest I have not wiped and loaded my phone in I don't know how long, so it's nice to be using it each day. It's very stable and works well for what I need.

I would love to use CM9 as my daily but I really need the camera! You just never know when your going to need it, accident on the road, picture of your family, or just what ever. I did install the newest CM9 that mantera released on my dev phone and it's just stupid sexy! So hence the push for CM9, cause damn I want a working camera and that ICS feeling :D:D:D

Cause I didn't want to wipe my phone and start all over again LOL. I tested everything on the dev phone and it works fine. Just be nice to have a daily driver for more than a week.

just fyi, I installed 0729 over 0726 without wiping with no problem. Using it for 2 days non stop with one tiny issue which I'm training myself to ignore. :D

On XDA X6 dev thread they managed to make camera half work, but only with new kernel. So it looks like we need a) new kernel, b) patience

as of ROM advice - strongly recommend only 3 of them (no offense to other devs)
1. CM7 (beta!)
2. Starship (looks like final)
3. Sharp (fast GPS, fully working camera and mostly HDMI)

I agree and i love the rom, but there is one problem i'm having, on my micro sd card, theres mainly 2 folders i can see in the gallery, camera and downloads. I've always had those two, as downloads are things i get off the internet or MMS, and camera is the pictures i take with the phone, but for whatever reason, whenever i take a picture, they dont go into the camera folder anymore, they go into a folder called 100ANDRO, and ive tried deleting the folder, renaming it camera, with no success, i was just wondering if you have any idea on what i can do to fix this.

I found formatting the SD fixed it. Right now on vs 26 I have the 100ANDRO folder for photos and it's working fine. I had the 100ANDRO before on CM7 but I flashed so many time I don't know if it was pick up from MIUI or CM9 or what ever other ROM I have installed.
 
If i format it, how can i get all my other photos that ive taken before on there, and still use that same folder to put new pictures i take in?
 
I've been using BSydz Sharp Port for a little over a week now. Came from the stock Triumph before then. I like that everything on the phone works well and I've had no major hiccups to date. I like a stable phone. I have an Optimus V with an uptime of over 370 days that we use as our house phone and backup ISP. I would like the Sharp ROM to be as good as that phone.

I backed up my SD card on my desktop and just left the photos there. I started fresh with the new ROM. I suppose you could copy them back over I just didn't bother.
