This is an attempt to bring Gingerbread 2.3.4 to the Motorola Triumph any help from other Devs would be appreciated

Installation:

*Do Not Flash Gapps*

Its based on a combination of gingerbread updates that were made for the other phones related to the Triumph making this something completely new

So basically a ported official update. Interesting... So would that mean the pulling stuff from cm7 wouldn't work?

In theory it might work or it might make somethings force close since its not based on cyanogen code

Edit: I would call this unofficial but yes basically we're trying to make our own update

I know this is unofficial, but it is based off of official GB roms from other phones... So this is an unofficial official update lol.

Too bad I don't have a working MT and don't know anything about coding... But maybe trying to pull some of the stuff from cm7 would make some things work.

Yeah this isn't built from source at all in fact all the fixes made so far were in rom fixes..... im not sure if that makes it harder or easier but I will keep trying to get more things working

I was thinking of doing that there some xml's and permissions that will need to be changed aswell

Possibly, but it's also a AOSP rom... So it may or may not be that easy... The best way to find out is to try it yourself.

It would be cool to see HDMI on cm7 it works in this Rom aswell as the screen flicker is not present and possibly the volume bug might be gone but I haven't checked
