Root [ROM] AOKP Droid X [UNOFFICIAL]

I've been running this for a few days now after comming from GummyICS.
I love all the customization you can do with this ROM.
Smooth as butter on a hot day.

Anyone having trouble with 3g signal? I came over from Liberty to AOKP. I'm finding it more stable but my 3g signal bar stays at 1 or 2 in places where it was closer to full. Wifi signal also seems weak. I completely wiped before the install. Not sure if I should sbf and reinstall our move to something else.

How does this compare to Liberty 2? Battery life, customization, signal (3G/wifi) I see there was an issue above....

THANKS!

For me Liberty had better battery life and better signal but was less customizable and I got more reboots. However the reboots may have been specific to my app setup, I'm not sure it liked Widget locker. AOKP is based on ICS which is nice and has lots of customization, but my battery drains much quicker and my wireless signals are much lower then normal.

I want to try this but when I try to download it keeps failing and it doesn't give any errors. Just asks if I want to retry or delete. Any ideas? I've tried a few other rom dl's and getting the same thing. :(

Same problem here, I downloaded a download manager app called Turbo Download Manager use normal mode NOT turbo mode.. for some reason turbo seemed to be corrupted files when they downloaded.. downloading the ROM using normal mode of turbo download manager worked for me... I went rooted my DX and have now been running AOKP 39 for 3 weeks.. very satisfied especially after having to sell my gnex which I was doing JB nightlies on, this is a great compromise.. it is no gnex.. but for single core 1ghz, no longer on project butter but ICS.. i'm suprised how smooth it is

you're welcome
