Root [rom] aosp+ 4.2

I am probably going to flash this later today. I just want some of the little extra add one... really liking stock right now.

It's very stable. He is slowly adding more and more to it. Last update added some sort of game controller support.
Flashed it as soon as I got back to work after class today. It is feeling really nice and zippy (like stock) and the extra options are what make it that much nicer.

Are you using the stock kernel that it came with or did you flash one of the other ones?

Using the kernel that comes with it which is technically not stock. It's his version that adds the usb OTG and lots of other stuff. I don't see a need for an over clocked kernel. This tablet is so smooth!

Okay, I am going to ask a dumb question here so please be kind.... what is the OTG again? Not at home and cannot look it up easily and I am afraid that I will not remember if I do not ask here.

Support for flash drives. I don't know much about it. This is from his post.

USB OTG Information:
1. Auto-mount to /storage/usbdisk
2. Files accessible by all applications, processes and users
3. Currently works with FAT & NTFS partitions
4. Full read-write access for FAT USB disks, read-only access for NTFS USB disks
5. This does not conform to the Android 4.2 multi-user capabilities. All users have full access to the OTG storage
6. If you are using another custom kernel, make sure it does not overwrite the ramdisk or you make lose OTG support

I keep finding little things that he has added to the ROM! Didn't have time to read about everything yesterday.

Have you tried the expanded desktop function located on the power button toggles? More beautiful screen to look at! I setup Button Savior from the market to get Nav buttons on the right side of the screen with a simple swipe!

I will have to check that out when I get back home to my precious...I like that idea, more screen is always good.

I do not see the Extended Desktop On/Off in the power button toggles. I have enables it in the Settings > Display.

Also did not like that Chrome was not included in this ROM, but the old Browser was. I have had no issues with Chrome.

I forgot that you do have to enable it first. Should be there now when you long press the power button.
