Root [ROM] Bootlegger V1.1 4g fixed

Bootlegger is based on AWE Inspired Moonshine White by brittnearl and starkraving, so please stop by their thread and thank them. All I did was port over their work to the warplte, with a few minor modifications.



Features:

All compatible KitKat apps
4.2 Camera with working gallery
kit kat themed trebuchet
Working stock voicemail app
KitKat keyboard with number row!!
AOSP browser
Notification toggles!! [options under notification toggle in settings]
Note: tether toggle doesnt work
Integrated Init.d support!!
Gradient status bar [Thanks starkraving!!!]
Note: xposed status bar mods cause issues!!
Advanced reboot menu!!
Advanced volume control with unlinked notification volume
Tabbed settings[toggles switch but settings needs closed to switch back]
Treve wifi tether [notification toggle doesnt work with it]
No root file manager that's your choice
Performance control app :D [under performance control in settings]
Center clock with removed am/pm
Battery % in status bar

Installation Instructions:
Prerequisites: You must have a custom recovery (e.g. CWM or TWRP) installed to be able to load this ROM.
1. Download the most recent version from the download center above to your SD card.
2. Reboot into recovery.
3. Make a complete backup of your device!!
4. Use the install from zip (CWM) or Install (TWRP) option to navigate to where you saved the Bootlegger ROM on your SD card and select it.
5. When the installer script finishes, reboot your phone.

This is a custom rom. follow the instructions and use at your own risk. Myself and any contributing parties are not responsible if you render you phone unusable "bricked".

By the way...I still got my old warp with your rom on it, I like playing around with it for ole times sake.

Sweet. Glad you like it. What are you looking for in a kernel? I'm working on cm11, and haven't had the time to play with the kernel much. Unlike the OG warp this thing rocks along with the stock kernel.

I would just like to over clock and see what this puppy can do.
 
Yeah that would be cool. I'd give it a run, but I'm actually making some solid progress with cm11. Any kind of KitKat build requires a totally separate kernel, so I guess that's why no one is bothering to create an oc kernel for jellybean.

great rom but have to ask if anyone elses 4g not working im only seeing 3g symbol and is there a way to add more shortcuts on the lockscreen alongside the Google one thats already there? also good luck on cm11 jimsmith80 ive been waiting and watching you in that thread to see if you get the data and stuff working with the warp 4g haha i'd love to test it out but kinda need to be able to use my phone a bit at the same time lol anyway thanks for sharing the rom :D

Good info. I suspected there may be an issue with 4g, but was not sure. 4g coverage is pretty bad in my area.

As far as the lock screen is concerned I'm not really sure what it would take to do it, but almost anything is possible. What are you looking to add?

Mobile data is working I'm cm11 now. Random reboots kind of kill it as a daily driver. Once I have that sorted out I'll post a tester.
 
i personally would prbly just add the messenger and/or browser since i use them a lot but its no biggie there's apps for stuff like that if i must have them i also wondered about the camera options not having 8 megapixels only goin up to 5 megapixels but again not a big deal to me and im really glad to hear data is working on cm11 ive been excited to see it progressing cant wait to try it out

Its a ported rom from the awe, socim not surprised that its limited by those specs. I might be able to fix it
 
I concur with thenab, 4g is not working. I didn't see earlier because I was in an area that is not covered anyway.

Yes, overclocked fine, but I could not get my tethering app to work with it. I'm sure it is just a matter of tweaking some settings in app I just don't have time right now. Working 2nd shift, but I can play around with it later. Thanks for all the time you putting into this dude.:)

The kernel modules are a little different from stock. Do a wipe and then it should work.


You may only need to clear data and cache for the tether app
 
Yeah. I'm not 100 percent sure that I like it, but as the ROM sits its a port of an awe ROM. By the way 4g has been reported broken. I'll try to fix that soon
Got a new cm build cooking up right now
 
Now I feel like I'm back with all my O.G. Warp buddies again! Thanks Jim and SuperR. Keep'em coming, I feel refreshed now, and ready to test out! (SuperR, I'll give you a run shortly!)
