Root [ROM] CM 10.1 preview

Go into the settings menu and scroll to the bottom. Developer options is between accessibility and About phone.

doesn't it need to be activated by repeatedly pressing "build number" under about phone settings? I can't remember if it did in this preview version but it does in tdm's version.

That works, also activates the performance menu. Thanks much!

A couple of new observations: notification icon for wifi does not show when connected and usb connectivity default options are missing but I might have to be plugged in.

Well I'm lost with exchange and do not have a developer options in system settings.

Scroll to the bottom go into about phone and keep tapping the bottom entry it'll eventually say that developer options are enabled. Think it's like 6 traps.

If you trap one of the other entries a few times you get an Easter egg.

scroll up the page a a few posts, that issue has been taking care of :p

More wifi woes, Internet access seems to work but ES file explorer which can access lan shares and nzb360 which can access sabnzbd over the lan both do not. I switched to zv7 to check and they both work.

Aww man, can't ever satisfy you, can we? :p

As a matter of fact, the AOKP team is rolling out test builds for B5 as I write this. The release should be Real Soon Now.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I was just asking the question, didn't mean any disrespect by it though :]

I'm always satisfied, I just don't mind asking questions if I have them. Perhaps it comes across as being unsatisfied, and for that I apologise.

I know, I was just kidding. ;)

PS: check your PM.

Does the first official build of CM 10.1 still suffer from the pre4 version bugs of excessive battery use and bluetooth connection problems?

Thank you TDM - it is amazing what you have been able to do in this short period of time. We all cannot thank you enough.

Well, I'm not sure where your phone is truly at, but I'll start by getting you back into CWM and hopefully you can move forward from there. If not, I check back here about once every week or so.

1. Turn the power off.
2. Touch and hold the following keys at the same time for 8-12 seconds: Power/Lock Key + the Volume down Key.
3. Press the Power/Lock Key when you see the pop-up “Permanently Erase User Data & Reset Settings?", press the Power/Lock Key to confirm
4. When you press the Power/Lock Key to confirm, another pop-up stating “Are you sure you want to continue with erase?" will appear. Press the Power/Lock Key to confirm.
5. Your phone will now boot into CWM or TWRP, which ever is installed on your phone. From here you should be able to wipe settings, flash a different rom, or connect with ADB to try and trouble shoot your issue.

With the fact that you're on cleartalk, I can't walk you through much more then that as the VS920 never played well with services that did not use LTE cards. Hopefully this will help though.
