CM10 Nightlies

Today we kick off the nightly builds of the CM10 JellyBean code branch, builds will show up later this evening.

CM9 nightly builds for devices that don't receive a CM10 nightly will continue (for the meantime) but we are changing the timing on them to be once a week instead (aka weeklies). This will allow a means for us to test bug fixes and the like as they get merged into the ICS branch - as stated before, the CM9 branch is in an otherwise perpetual code-freeze.

The devices receiving CM10 nightlies this evening include (but aren't limited to):

# The US SGS3 variants
# The Galaxy Nexus variants
# The Nexus S varaints
# The Nexus 7
# The Transformer and Transformer Prime
# The SGS1 variants (Vibrant, Captivate, International, and i9000b)
# The SGS2 i9100g
# P3 and P5 tablets

Other devices will join the roster as they become ready and gain their maintainers blessing for nightlies.

Just downloaded the latest and I'm interested in installing it!
(I knew there would be a thread about it here!)

I'm about to watch a couple of YouTube videos regarding installation as well.
I probably won't be doing it anytime soon as I have a trip to Boston coming up, but we'll see what kind of free time I've got before then.

I wish I was more aware of locked/unlocked bootloaders before I got my other tablet or I would probably have gotten something else.
Ahh, the joys of learning. lol

I'm not even sure if this is something I'll be getting into, but I'm intensely curious about CM after seeing a video of the crew doing a presentation about it. I respect the core intention of it big time.

Running the CM10 m1 build now. I like it very much, its snappy.

Hope a true tablet mode without a DPI change gets added, I miss using it.
Now that Scotts Rom dev has officially ended for this device

I really want to try this ROM, but I can't get past the loading screen on my N7 after Flashing it. I've unlocked the BL, Rooted to CWM, what's missing?

Are you wiping?

To flash a different rom, (unless specified otherwise) you need to:

Wipe cache
Wipe data
Clear Dalvik cache

Failure to do this will result in boot loops.

To upgrade the same rom (not applicable in this case), like cm9 to newer cm9, you often can just omit wiping data.
