ROMs [ROM] CM11 V4.4.4 UnOfficial For The ZTE Mustang Z998 With New Kernel Add On

Hmm when im trying to install the zip it says "set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed" "E: Error in sdcard/cm-11/2015-0419-UNOFFICIAL-coeus.zip (Status 7) Installation Aborted"

I do think a new CWM or TWRP recovery needs to be ported for this phone because the current recovery I can find is CWM 6.0.3.7. I am sure for CM11 and above we need at least 6.0.4.5. Also, there is a chance you might not brick your phone if you use a working rom and flash the recovery. As long as you can boot into the rom or bootloader, I think that you will be able to flash another recovery with adb and superuser access if the one you have is corrupted.

If you are going to make new cwm recovery for this phone, I would go for CWM 6.0.4.7.
