Hey gang
I'm a Experience Noob, but ive rooted, and installed roms about a year ago on my Droid2.
Here is my GOAL: Run a STABLE Gingerbread ROM Rooted-wifi Tether Working.
I am currently ROOTED, with Droid 2 Bootstrap installede and loading when i try and install a new ROM.
System Version-Verizon.2.2.20.A955.verizon
Android Version-2.2
Kernal Version-2.6.32.9
Here is the new ROM file i want to install.(Liquid Gingerbread)(75.3MB)
My SDcard has a bunch of folders from apps along with a update.zip file (think from my current rooted 2.2 ROM)-Should i just overwrite this file with my new Liquid Gingerbread file???? Reformat the SDcard then put Liquid Gingerbread file??
When i try to install the update.zip files in Recovery it always FAILS, BUTTT i am SUCCESSFUL at loading my backedup ROM.
OR should i REMOVE SU, reboot and update my ROM to the Verizon Update, and then ROOTED so i have WIFI-tethering
-REPS will be GIVEN-- ALL HELP is MUCH Appreciated
