What I have Done:

Rooted using Z4ROOT
Installed SUPERUSER
Installed TITANIUM BACKUP
Installed ADFREE
Installed DROID 2 BOOTSTRAPPER

Ok so now what? What do I do now to put a ROM on my D2?

Get ROM manager form the Market. Find out which ROMs are compatible with the D2. Also check YouTube, there should be vids on installing ROMs. You also need to flash ClockworkMod recovery first and that can be done with ROM manager.

I know which ROMs are available and which ones I might want. I just needed to know how to put them on my phone. Like a step by step way to do it.

I will go install those apps though.

Do I really need ROM manager?

The best way is to install through recovery via Koush's boostrap. Make a backup, mount your system, install zip through SD card

Yes. You have to flash SPRecovery or Clockwork with ROM manager since you rooted using z4root. Without it you cannot flash a new ROM

I really like launcher pro. With blur being gone on Fission will it be like that? or will I still need to get launcher pro?

When I was running Fission I still used launcher pro

Contacts sync with your google account and will come back after the install. So do apps.

Ok Thanks man. I figured it out.

Also, right now I am running Thirdeye Black Theme. If I want to switch to a different Theme do I need to switch back to stock before I download a new theme or can I download the new theme and go straight to the new theme?

No wiping necessary. Technically you never have to but I do before I install new ROMs just so its a clean fresh install.

This is right and I change the name of the files such as "Stock Rooted" or "Fission 2.3"

Thanks Super Six Two :)

And this is what I did too. I have Stock, Fission, and then other ones that are my themes.

Thanks for all the help guys. I think I have the hang of this ROM stuff now :D
