I have yet to jump into a custom ROM on my Bionic.
After running many different ones on my OG DrOID I wanted to give the stock system a chance (especially with ICS)

You are speaking my language however.
Stripped down, fast, debloated, everything I was looking for.
VERY tempting...

Seems to run very well so far.

A few small, picky issues:
I do like colored icons on the toggles but the ones in the ROM right now just look horrible to me. It could be me just being spoiled, I was using Notification Toggle on stock and really liked some of their icon sets. Is that changeable? Is it possible to add or subtract items to the toggle list?

The GMail app thinks it wants to update with a new version from google but I keep getting a signature error when it does. Did you include a special version of GMail?

The included boot animation scared the s*** out of me the first time it booted. I though the phone had gone into a bootloop. Are regular boot animations, like even the stock one, compatible with the ROM?

Umm the toggles are in the framework I do believe. Or system ui in the drawables folder. Edit whatever u want.... And boot animations work like any other ROM... My battery is doing fine I'm stock and got 16 hours yesterday an was still on 40%..

I'll look into those other items.

I have extended battery, from 8 am till now (6pm), mostly sitting at desk, went out for lunch, one phone call and about 60 texts. Battery is at 46%.

That's marginally worse than stock for me with roughly the same use.
But still, I'll give it a couple of days to acclimate.

Ok just a warning from here on out (this applies to all my threads), i wont be answering anymore "Why did you remove Google Now?" questions.

And my battery is fine (im on stock), maybe you should go to 3g mode or wifi when you can to save battery....

Well I gave it as long as I could.
For me, battery life actually declined after a week or so and just in the past couple days it began to drop data/4G/3G like they were poison.
It did that this morning and as a test, I booted my safe/stock system via safestrap and had no issues holding 4G in my office. Back to Icarus and it dropped after 30 seconds and I had no signal at all.
I do like the ROM, it is fast and clean but battery and signal are two biggies.
It could just be my phone doesn't like this specific ROM. I know my OGDroid would run stellar on some ROMs and like crap on others. No fault of the creators, it was just the phone.

Sorry, back to stock for me...

I've been trying to flash this ROM since last night. I'm on 4.2.2 and using SafeStrap 3.11. I've tried it on ROM-Slot 1 and 2. The flash seems to go fine with no errors. On the boot up however, I get the Motorola icon, then the SafeStrap screen, and then the phone resets. The softkeys black out and after a pause the Motorola screen comes up again (follow by Safestrap, etc). I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing. I'll list the steps I took in case someone is interested in lending advice.
1) Delete ROM-Slot-1 (was currently CM10.1)
2) Create a ROM slot in Slot 1 (1GB data partition)
3) Factory Reset Slot 1
4) Install IcarusHD 1.8.3 remix on Slot 1
5) Reboot system
I also tried the same steps with slot 2.

That looks right. Have you tried another ROM to see if it works.
