ILLUSION O.D ROM and root and cwm6.0.2.8 recovery
from::: ANDROID ADMIRER
what is this?
i think it may be the first stock rom for the illusion gingerbread 2.3.5
it is cwm flashable in a zip file
what's inside the rom...
1. deodexed framework and system apps
2. zipaligned all apk's
3.installed busybox
4.enabled init.d support (for running scripts )
5.deleted samsung and verizons bootanimations
6.deleted all boot sounds
7.enabled bootanimations
8.replaced those bootanis with my own custom made bootanimation
9.replaced default_wallpaper with my own custom one
10.replaced twlauncher with huawei modded launcher v.2.2.1
11.replaced stock music.apk with motorola connected player includes shoutcast radio
12.installed *****PIE CONTROLS******through LMT launcher
13.themed out using the u.o.t kitchen thanks u.o.t!!!
so if your not rooted or you are rooted and never got cwm installed here we go ..
to root your device use framaroot.apk
download....

when you install apk then open it and tap on the name of the expliot you see
it should tell you install of superuser was succesful and to reboot
reboot your device and you should be rooted
if you go into the superuser app go to settings in the app scrolldown and you should see some bright green or yellow writing this means that the superuser app detects that your device is in fact rooted
next is the install of cwm using odin
1. first of all make sure you have samsung usb drivers installed on your computer
2.power off your phone
3. download these 2 files
cwm6.0.2.8tar

and odin
http://www.dropbox.com/s/t2muxl5hs4qi53d/Odin3 v1.83.exe
after you down load these to your computer then hit run for odin the odin box should pop up
at this point we want to plug our phone in and see if it's recognized by odin to do this we first
1. get into download mode on your phone
hold the power and volume down buttons down at the same time
a black screen should pop up telling you the flashing other firmware is dangerous
hit the volume up button after you see that screen and you are now in download mode
2.plug your phone into your computer using the usb cable
give it a sec and you should see a green or yellow color pop into odin flash tool in the box below this you should see the words added!!!!!!
so if you see this color this means that odin now recognizes your phone and we can flash cwm onto it
3. you should see the letters pda in the tool and a box next to it
click on pda and search for the cwm6028tar file you downloaded
select the file and click open it should transfer into the box titled pda
4. now click start
5. it will load cwm and say something like recovery inside the green box and then say "PASSES"
6. THE DEVICE WILL REBOOT ON ITS OWN
7.so to check if cwm was installed or not
power off phone again then press power and volume up at the same time
and you should go directly into cwm6.0.2.8 which by the way we owe thanks to all the guys over at ANDROIDAREA51.COM a big thanks for giving us cwm
now to the fun part
installing the rom
download the rom from here

1.boot into cwm (holding down the power and vol up buttons
2. make a back up first thing********************************
got to back up and restore and hit back up and let it work
3.then wipe data and cache
4.go to mounts and storage and format system,cache and data
5.go to advanced and wipe dalvic cache
6. navigate to install from sd
7.find illusion.o.d rom zip
8.click it hit yes to install
9 after it installs goto reboot system now and hit it
before you get to leave cwm it will tell you that root may have been lost and propt you to install root again just go to the yes and press it then the phone should boot up with your new rom
