EOS Running With Atlantis R2 Kernel

[KERNEL] [3.1.10] [OC@1.5GHz/OV/BFQ/smartassv2/init.d] Atlantis R2

This kernel was made for stock rom but it works fine with EOS.

I've had no problems with flashing this kernel. There is one bug it seems. When the N7 goes to sleep it will revert back to 1300 MHz. This can be fixed with something like SetCPU according to others that have tried it. I haven't yet.

btw .. TWRP 2.2.1 is sweet! Flash it using GooManager. Everything in recovery is so much easier.

Nice! And that'll give you the tablet status bar with the normal DPI, right?

EOS with Trinity Seven Kernel

I tried CM10 Kang and Modaco roms. They are ok but I much prefer EOS. The Trinity Seven kernel works well with it, but it is like the Atlantis kernel. If the screen turns off it reverts back to 1300 MHz. I guess its a JellyBean issue.

But its smokin' when its on. :D

I saw a couple people at XDA had FC's with one they got from the market. I haven't had any problems.

Did you do a full wipe?

I love this rom. Right now I'm running stock waiting for my replacement N7 to get here. I'm missin' my flashing habit.

Yeah, I'm itching to root mine too. Backing up my stuff to switch between faulty replacements without root is so much more of a pain than it is with root.

I feel your pain. My 2nd replacement is going back today for a refund. Maybe I'll try one from Walmart later. I'll have to think hard about it.

There's an old saying, "Twice burned lesson learned."

Just loaded it up. Play Store doesn't feel like restoring my apps. Anyone know why this sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't? Does wiping system make a big difference?

I don't really remember play store restoring any apps even when I was stock and first signing up. Maybe because its a tablet with a different screen density setting? Or maybe a Jelly Bean thing?

You're right. No apps were restored when I first got it.
They were with my Bionic and Nexus, GB and ICS respectively.
Not sure if it's JB or tablets even though I have other tabs under my account.
