Root Rom Manager will not update

I am on my Ascend running PlayfulMod 1.0. I am getting notices that Rom Manager has an update. My current version of Rom Manager is 4.2.0.2 and it looks like the newest update is 4.8.0.2. When I try to update Rom Manager from the Market, I get an error saying "Package file was not signed correctly." Is anyone else getting this or know of a fix?

personally i would stick with 3.0.2.4 or 3.0.2.8

Not Clockwork Mod, but Rom Manager lol. I have CWM 3.0.0.5, but since I'm not installing any roms, I don't really care which CWM I have.

So I tried to uninstall Rom Manager and kept getting an error, so I used Root Explorer and removed the .apk file for Rom Manager from the System>Apps folder, then rebooted. Finally I went into Market and downloaded and installed the new version of Rom Manager.
