Rom Manager

hi. to use the rom manager app, do I need to have the phone rooted?

If so, what is the easiest way to do this? Can I do this myself, I'm just a newbie.............

Having a ROM manager really only makes sense on a rooted phone. Maybe you can use some of the functions on some ROM managers on an unrooted phone, but it would be extremely limited.
