for this test it shouldn't matter if you are on cm or stock, but you DO need to WIPE DATA prior to installation to be sure everything works!! (if coming from cm/aosp you must wipe data anyway!!)

What recovery should be used?

Edit: Downloading now going to use Cwm Touch

Edit 2: No FCs so far so good. May I use this as a base rom?

Hey OP, which recovery should I use to flash this? I just rooted my phone, don't yet have a recovery. I'd like to back up my ROM first before flashing this. I wasn't able to find a CWM version for this phone. What did you use?

Just slipped my mind. We can't boot direct into recovery in the host OS because it causes recovery loops.

Ive been using this phone for about 6 mo. So far the only recovery that Ive had no issues with is Philz touch recovery. if I use CWM or TWRP I get random boots and bootloop issues with roms. Ive installed CM 10.1, PAC rom a stock debloted version all with issues. so far this rom is not only stable but faster than stock. if you need any help testing let me know.

For any chance the you have the calendar app the come with stock I just noticed the calendar is not in there

This is the recovery i use. I can boot in to recovery from system with no problems. All the other recoveries available will soft brick the phone.
