Root [rom] pac-man

Spec is back in the nightly builds but everything failed last night. Should have a build tomorrow.

Sadly... Looks like tonight's build failed too...

make: *** [/home/build/src/pac-4.3/out/target/common/obj/JAVA_LIBRARIES/telephony-common_intermediates/classes-full-debug.jar] Error 41
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

Thanks for getting the nightlies back up.

Now that I fixed my corrupted partitions and did a clean install of RC1, I'm trying to install a 10.2-based nightly. However, they all get stuck on the boot animation forever.

Any advice? This is my favorite ROM.

Can you get a logcat and post it on pastebin?

Never mind. I did another full wipe (from ADB; mke2fs... 26, 27 & 28) and installed 11/27's nightly clean. Not sure what happened, but its loading up all my apps now and seems to be running smoothly.

I switched back to CWM from TWRP, possibly that had something to do with it.

Is there any way to let the folks that cover the cost of bandwidth for basketbuild, know that the last 3 builds for PAC_vs920 won't even flash?

Is it possible for a buildbot to turn Zombi?

I am holding out with the 12-28 ROM to see if a newer ROM then 12-29 makes it through.

Since HughesNet charges like VZW for overpriced bandwidth, and WineStream won't even offer me a dial up, I have to conserve every databit.

PackMan IS rock solid and worth every issue of bandwidth conservation...:)

I havent looked at the basketbuild builds recently, but it used to include the build log for the latest build at the bottom... Perhaps you could look at the log and make sure that the build is completed without errors before downloading the zip.

Yea,

The last 1 has no log.
All of the logs seem to have the same "Unabe to "....line

Guess I have to wait.

Thanks I'll let them know. I'm the pac maintainer for vs920 but I don't ever use it. And I'm also an admin with both pac and basket build. So whatever the problem is, it's most likely going to be me fixing it.

Looks like one of the build boxes has a flaky net connection. If it doesn't resolve itself, I may need to add integrity checks to the build/upload scripts.

Will the PAC rom ever be updated to android 4.4 KitKat? Not asking for an ETA but will it be released because I really love this ROM and would love to see it run Android 4.4 :D

They are working in it. It is much more work than other ROMs of course, so it takes much more time.

Any ideas why my wife and I have the same ROM (this one) and she sounds like she's in a tunnel all the time and mine sounds fine?

This phone mic problem. When friend started to talk with me on skype. He heard noises from my phone mic. Replace wife's phone.

Great ROM and worked the first time I flashed the nightly. Just one question. Is there a way I can not let the battery get VERY hot? On all the other ROMs id wakeup and the phone would be HOT! Thanks

You've got a lg spectrum. There's no way around that. I've had the temp up on every ROM available.

If the phone is hot when not in use, it means your CPU is still running at full blast. When it's it's sleep mode, your phone should be cool to the touch. It's possible that something you have installed is keeping the CPU awake. I had that happen with the torch app, where it kept the CPU awake, even though the camera light was off.

How about when you flash the rom shut the device off for about 35 minutes this will allow the cooling and settlement of the rom . now I know in the pacman rom some files in the folder called init.d has files that the CPU will run watch what u select in the settings cause somethings will keep it awake causing heat up.
