(SYS HW enabled, GPU tuned, Qualcomm processor tuned, Scrolling speed increase, Wifi Scan interval set to 180, better touch response, JPEG and camera and video increased, increased media streaming performance, enabled 270 degree rotation system wide)

I forgot to add the easy ums mounting app for cpu mounting issues, I will include it in second post

v2.1
Added test boot.img overclocked to 1.4ghz

Thanks animania260 for letting me include it into the rom and for bringing our phone a o/c boot.img

Added SWAPPS
Great shortcut app
To learn more about it, see the below thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37503928

Took out gmail and other apps in original rom to slim this beast down just a little.
(If you want the apps, you know how to get them)

Other stuff that I can't remember.

BUGS

v2.4
added Terminal Emulator but it forcecloses
(just delete out of system/app

The rom says its v2.0. It is v2.1. I totally saw it and was gonna change it but I was already compressing the zip

Sorry guys, same as before but I did download ICS camera from the play store and it worked better than before. Just have to hold it completely still to take a pic. If you want no ads then either download adaway or get the paid version.

I'm not going to really fix the above bugs. I'm just giving you what you guys wanted.

You tell me.

BIG THANKS

To superboy4444 for the rom

To Slayer72 for getting our phone to the level its at now and for showing me where to start( You'll be back soon and we will be here)

To Shabbypenguin for going out of your way to get us root and for popping in and showing us the way

HOW TO FLASH

(if you don't know how to do these steps then maybe you shouldn't flash stuff)

Boot into recovery
Wipe Data
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik
Install from sdcard or extsdcard
(Depends on where you put the rom)
Let it party
When finished reboot.

If coming from the previous port you can just wipe cache and dalvik but I recommend a full wipe. Your choice.

Enjoy.

Also remember to o/c responsibly.
No two chipsets are alike. Its your phone.

It is also too early to determine how battery life is since this is a new boot.img. Give it a few cycles before saying my battery is crappy

One last thing. I'm not or anyone involved on this rom/port are responsible for your actions

Did you test this ROM on your phone? I just want to make sure it has been successfully flashed at least once. Also, is there any chance the cpu tweak will fry my phone?

Yes I did. I don't do stuff unless I try it myself. As far as frying your phone, that's your call. The test boot.img is fine in my testing but I don't max out my cpu. I'm a solid 1209ghz ondemand governer using the noop scheduler. It's to early to tell how my battery is gonna respond to the overclock. Gotta give it a couple days but its not hot in the hand.

How to download?

Lol Google Drive is very realiable, it's just being a pain. I was wondering how Slayer72 had linked the system.ext4.img when I told him about Drive.

Hail Google... but seriously I'm joking, but I love Google :-)
Great job on the port man. Now we need to make one based off Slayer's system.img.

And no Slayer the Kernel will not fry your phone. Me and sckboy78 have flashed the 1.4Ghz and 1.8Ghz kernel and it's really stable.

Also sckboy can you successfully change the clock in the ROM with "my" (I should say downthemachines kernel) kernel? If you can maybe it's related to the ROM I was using, because I could not change to CPU clock in the ROM that's why I built two versions.

I dont understand why my kernel bricked, all I did was make the same edits you made, both running at 1450 mV. Makes no sense, unless it wasn't borked and it was some freak accident taht bricked Slayer72, Who knows, all I know is that I'm not trying anything again until I beyond FULLY understand this kernel thing. Lots O' Studying ahead of me!!! ;)

Hmm well if we can change the clock in the ROM then the o/c part of the kernel is good to go... Which is awesome! I can focus on governors, I/O schedulers, and patches. Working on a better performance Linaro build now :-).

Great little phone is getting some love.

Actually about kernel o/c the only thing is need to set the default to 1.2Ghz and then just make the max 1.8Ghz like in downthemachine's source. So just need to figure out why it's defaulting to the highest frequency.

I sure can try. Whats the full name of the reverb?
If I can get the kernel source for your phone, which actually I might not even need that, but really if someone else has O/C'd the same chipset in the reverb on a different device then we just need to find that source and some things to a few files in the kernel source, compile and re-pack it.

I thought the reverb had the same chip as the rush though? If it does it shouldn't be hard at all.
PM me the full name of the reverb and I'll start working on it.

Edit: Nevermind I just googled it galaxy reverb

Yeah the Reverb has the same Chip in it :-) so give me a day or two and I should have an O/C kernel for ya guys.

Looks like the Reverb is a slighty different prevail2spr for Virgin Mobile. Has exact same internals almost though.

OK. New link is up again its dropbox. Go easy on it. If it times out then could someone upload a mirror? I've been on mobile all day. Tomorrow I'll mirror it.

Please read the entire first post just to see if it answers any questions that you might have.
