Root ROM request thread

If you have an idea for a ROM that you would like to see ported to the zmax please post it here in order to prevent other threads from being cluttered with requests. Also it isn't polite to go on a ROMs thread and post a request for a different ROM. As far as KitKat ROMs go, I think carbon ROM would be a great start. For lollipop, I'd be perfectly happy with the cm12.1 that hroark13 is building. Does anyone else have ideas?
 
Would love a Liquidsmooth or Beanstalk port, I just want more than anything is to get more governers in a custom kernel and voltage control as well.
 
Right now anything that comes our way would be awesome, but Im patiently waiting for the CM12 port, Android L is just candy to my eyes, just the looks of it are so sexy... Err... I meant SEXY! But its always good to have options on flashing for when u just wanna change, Ill say Liquidsmooth also, or Paranoid!
 
Agreed with the above. I also would really like a bootloader unlock. All of this would be nice but full system R/W access would be nice without having to write boot to the recovery partition

It really not that complicated if you use the zips from masterchief. It really takes all of the risk away and you still have twrp installed you just need to flash back when you want to flash a new Rom or anything really. However a custom kernel would be really cool....

Yeah the custom ZIPs are nice and all but it'd be nice to not have to do that.
 
I'd be content with CM11 ... isn't CM12 based on lollipop?
no Dalvik ...no exposed....
but, a lot of exposed plugins are based CM11....soooo
 
I was just trying to remove the e from Xposed...
really?...what I read musta been old...
it said Xposed doesn't jive with ART.....
musta been written when lollipop was new...
that's what I get for not checking the date

yeah xposed work on lollipop used on my old lg volt cm12.1 ROM some modules don't work some do , I have a link with working and none working xposed modules
 
does lollipop allow dl and install to sd?
if there is a slot for an sd that is.....
I know lollipop is getting old and android "m" is already news....
but,I thought I read somewhere that Google got smart and re-enabled access

Yeah I'm hoping that they release the M developer preview soon and when they do that they release it for the nexus 7 2013 so I can check it out.
Also I don't think that lollipop has the SD restrictions that kitkat has. At least it isn't so bad that you have to root your phone to use a file manager other than the lousy stock one.
 
I will have my new hard drive in next week so I plan on helping with getting dirty unicorn to the zmax its been while since I've built...but I think I got this :)
