Hiya, just thought I'd post this online in case it's useful to anyone else.
This is my custom ROM that I'd been using on my phone before I ran the update to 2.3.3. It is the stock 2.1 ROM which has been modified using dsi's android kitchen.
0) If you have not updated your system to v20a yet using the LG updater tools, this ROM should work for you. If you have updated to v20a, this rom will work, but any functions that run through the sim card (phone, texting, etc.) will not work. Things like wifi, etc. will still work.
1) The kernel has been updated from 2.6.29 to 2.3.35.7 - the kernel from the 2.3.3 LG Shine Plus stock rom.
2) The rom is rooted, and some tools (like sysro/sysrw, bash, nano) have been added using dsi's kitchen.
Anyone who has run the upgrade to v20a is stuck with 2.3.3 for now if they want to keep using their phone as a phone - this rom can downgrade you to 2.1 but you will lose phone functionality. IF you want to do this, I recommend doing a data wipe first.
Here's the file I've been flashing safely for a month or so.
