Green Theem locks totally Awesome Thank you Team StormDroid I am loving this. calls are perfect. mms sms working great. ota working . and I love the StormDroid download app.



update : The Youtube Lag has returned. not sure what is causeing it . not taking any frame rate hits on bench mark. rebooting now . will post back with more info.

Update: Rebooted . re-applied clock settings oc 786. no change youtube still lagging and lipsyncing. on the clock at the moment will look at it deeper once i clock out at midnight.

update: wiped cache and delvik cache unresolved continuing troubleshooting.
any suggestions please post and i'll give it a try.

update. Continuing to ts the youtub lag. latest steps. uninstalled youtube using absolute system. redownload install from the market. unresolved. Have tried many differrent clocksettings with no affect. I am at a loss folk .
Remeber I am tsing this over a strong wifi connection to my home network. so not sure is it is something in the wifi maybe?
Other than the youtube lag Stormdroid seems rock solid to me.

update. So i have tested some other media and here is what i have found . Filming with phones camera. got lag a lipsync on playback. I then loaded a music video on to my sdcard. No lag or lipsync on the mp4 format. not sure what else I can do but with this being the only bug i have been able to find. I hope the information is helpful

you're not alone because i tried what you did with wifi between V1.2 and SD1.1. it's the rom itself, yet i have no clue what is causing this. I will definitely flash SD1.1 once youtube is fixed, because every night I watch a few youtube vids before going to bed..:p:(:confused:

Ok been doing some reading on this stagefright thing. do believe it may be the root cause of our youtube and streaming lad. question is , is it fixable? from what i have read disbling stagefright can cause other issues though unclear as to what issues. so which is the lesser of the two evils?

Youtube lag Resolved.
Steps.
1 DL and install BladeBuddy
2. Open BladeBuddy and tap advanced settings
3. Uncheck media.stagefright.enabled.player
4. Press menu then save
5. Select Save /Reboot
7. Stream Youtube and enjoy!.

If you find the file this edits, you should send it to us, edited, so we can add it to the next nightly. :)

I will look for that tonight after work . I know it is in the build.pop if that helps. but from what i read about it is you edit the build.prop file. it wont hold. the false value reverts back to true.
 
Yea i even unchecked stagefright on velocity, have you guys been thru any problems lately for the steps above^^because if this just a TEMPORARY fix i dont wanna reflash back to V1.2 if its temporary..but I will definitely try the steps.

So long as you have blade buddy installed and have followed the steps the settings will hold. I have not had to redo the steps yet youtude is still streaming great.
I have the SDK and adb up and running now but have not yet found how to moddify the file succesfully.

Hasn't it been repaired in the 10/13 nightly?

Sorry if this issue has been resolved already, I'm in class and can't really read thwe whole thread right now. I flashed the superuser fix and it works fine, its just when I hit menu > batch it attempts to 'calculate' and this error message comes up.
 
As i turn the phone sideways and open the keyboard, the screen goes blank without apps for at least 15 seconds if at all, suggestions?
