DISCLAIMER: By using this ROM, you understand that only YOU are responsible for anything good or bad that may come from it.

This ROM is based on the newest B09 update. Some apps have been removed to reduce size and bloat, some apps added becuase they are great. It uses the super smooth Atom Launcher and has the Xposed Framework pre-installed for your convenience. Enjoy :)

How To Install:

  1. Download SuperROM_B09_unsigned.zip to your sdcard
  2. Reboot into CWM recovery
  3. MAKE A BACKUP (optional, but highly recommended)
  4. DO A FACTORY/DATA reset
  5. Go to install zip from sdcard
  6. Choose zip from sdcard
  7. Select SuperROM_B09_unsigned.zip
  8. Confirm
  9. Reboot

NOTE: Since this ROM is unsigned, Signature Verification will need to be disabled in CWM. This can be accomplished in the same menu as "Choose zip from sdcard". It says something like Toggle signature verification.

NOTE2: I recommend turning on Power Toggles, which gives you the notification area power widgets

NOTE3: If you prefer the Google Search bar at the top of all your home screens instead of the Atom bar, touch and hold the Atom Bar until a menu comes up, then drag the Google Search bar from the menu over the existing Atom bar and drop.

NOTE4: Your device must have CWM to flash ROMs. If it doesn't, please check out Warp2 CWM & Root Flasher

How to use Xposed Framework:

Once the ROM is running on your device, go to your app drawer and select Xposed Installer. Click Install/Update and give it root permission. Then click on Modules at the top. Check the 2 boxes listed and reboot. Now you can open the 2 modules you just enabled from the app drawer and start playing around with stuff.

Be sure to check out the CRT Off effect in Tweakbox.

If you want a specific app to run in tablet mode, open Xposed App Settings, choose the app you want to modify, add these settings to the page that comes up:
DPI: 200
Screen (dp,px): 600x1024
Click the save icon at the top right and agree to kill the app. Open the app...now in tablet ui :)

Is the Gmail widget option duplicating for you? I didn't see it duplicating on stock. It just gives me 2 options for a Gmail widget and they are both the same widget.

i don't use the gmail widget, but gmail app is not included in this rom. if it shows up for you after flashing the rom without installing it that means you did not wipe data before flashing the rom.

I wiped everything and then installed Gmail. When accessing the widgets, the option for Gmail is duplicated. Not that big of a deal, just throwing it out there in case other users experience it with that or other widgets.

Just flashed and giving it a try. My phone is already better than its ever been. No lag issues yet either. Appreciate the upload, this one should be a keeper. Keep up the great work!

Will that keep all my current apps up to date or do I need to back em all up with TB and then wipe, flash, reinstall apps again? And I'm guessing it'll keep it on B09. Cuz yesterday I finally got the phone good to go with doomlord, reinstalled everything from TB AND ES explorer (mistake). Rebooted and took me back to B07. Guessing its cuz I reinstalled from ES that had all system data from B07 when I initially backed em up.

The best i can offer is that you could try flashing the rom without doing a factory/data reset. They are both B09, so the data partition should work the same (this is where user apps are installed and system apps are updated). Make a cwm backup before attempting this just in case you run into problems after reboot.

Just to clarify something for you, now that you have cwm installed on your phone it is hard to break it. You can switch between ROMs easily, go back to B07, switch back to B09, etc. When you are finished playing, you can wipe the phone and restore a backup to bring you right back where you started. Just make sure you have a backup that you are happy with before you mess around, then do whatever you want. Restoring a backup is EASY :)

Thank you very much for simple explanation. I'm 'gettin there' on learning this stuff. VERY happy the root and cwm worked after all the messin around. And it was so simple.

no problem at all, that's what the forum is for...learning ;)

You may as well flash some ROMs since there is no better way to learn than doing it. As long as you have a nandroid backup from cwm you really can't go wrong.

are you saying wifi tether for root users does not work at your work? If so, does it work other places?
