Root [ROM][Unofficial] LineageOS 14.1 (7.1.2) for Moto E4 Plus "owens"

update on Dec 23 build the other day I got a white pop up box when tried to place a call no cell service odd data worked fine but calls or messaging would fail so I tried a PRL update and it just hung and never updated went back to stock for now

Strange.. I'm still running the Dec 23 build with no issues at all..

I have the same issue. I upgraded from an older install of Lineage 14.1 to the 1223 and I don't have Wifi nor cellular.

EDIT: I checked the MD5 matches what's shown on androidfilehost. I'm attempting a restore from a TWRP backup of my previous Lineage 14.1. I should mention that The phone is a Boost phone that I'm using with T-Mobile. Installing Lineage allowed me to use it with that network. Considering Wifi is messed up, I suspect there's something else going on.

What was the last stock FW update your device had installed, do you possibly remember?
 
How much of a performance dip happens after enabling the encryption with this rom or is it so little as to be unnoticeable?
 
Also does anyone know if this device has a dedicated chip for handling encryption or is it completely handled by the CPU?
 
my nexus 7 has L.O.S and security patch Jan 5 2019 Feb 8 nightly build even if this Eplus 4 never gets any more it's still better then my stock security March 5 2018 ,,, you liking that E-5 plus ?

It's not bad but the octacore cuts battery time in half (FYI).. I had better battery life on the E4+. On the plus side, the custom ROM Development is coming along and have an option or two

Totally! Even has Moto's Chopchop LineageActions going on customs.. Got Boost Mobile APN's submitted to Los repos & Global settings.. Supposed to be more ROMs to follow, I hear.
 
I cannot get the the version security patch date April 5 2019 to work with LTE only 3g if if I set to LTE preferred I loose messaging capabilities and it goes to roaming mode I have flashed stock and tried it again but get the same results if I go to stock and back to the Dec 2018 security patch version it works somewhere down the line it got broke, back to stock for now untill I get time to go back to the DEC 2018 version that worked fine ,,another note when on the April 2019 version and try to switch back to the 2018 DEC version it's still broke and have to go to stock then to the DEC 2018 version for it to work...went to stock and flashed DEC 2018 version rock solid more stable then stock and battery life is amazing when you don't have all that google crap installed

Update posted in OP, unsure if I missed anything after switching to different PC, plz lemme know..
 
spoke to soon lost LTE and only get 3g went back to stock then relized how bloated that was and poor battery life so back on the 2018 LOS build that seems to most stable on my owens
