Root {ROM} Windows 7C Version (tested and ready for release)

Wow! You're going nuts with the awesomeness. I'm not necessarily a Windows fan but your screen shots are beautiful. I'd be happy to help test things but my Conquer isn't a daily driver. I'm using it in WiFi only mode as kind of an "a-Pod touch".

I downloaded this ROM from your special link. I did a dirty flash over the AlienWareZ ROM and had no problems as a result. The only weird things I've run into so far is the lack of boot splash (it's somewhat disconcerting to look at a black screen that long because you can't tell if anything is happening), and the sprint notice of an update for my phone. Just for giggles, I let it try to apply the update (knowing full well what the outcome would be) and had to do a battery pull to get use of the phone again.
This is another beautiful ROM from the ABCindicate team and I'm becoming a huge fan!
I'll spend some more time messing with other settings and trying out bluetooth, then I'll report back here with my findings.
So far, this looks like it's about ready to release!

so you are not having an issue with the phone just constantly rebooting..????? if not then crap..that means my phone is screwing up on me...oh well..lol
As for the sprint update....is it throwing a toast on the screen or just in the notification?
I might just get rid of all of the sprint stuff but didn't want to offend anyone that actually uses it.
The script is set up for a dirty flash...no need to wipe anything..just flash it over and let the script do your wiping for you.
Assuming your testing goes well then we will do a release on it...after i look at the bootanimation issue...and i did go ahead and make a few changes to the next version as well as adding a few more apps that i think go well with this phone.
Quite honestly i really like the look of this version over its original that was made for the admire. This one has a few more options to it....should i add the v6 supercharger??

Sorry, my phone isn't rebooting - looks like yours might be borked.
The notification for the sprint update is just the one that shows up in the notification area. I suppose you could kill all sprint stuff if you built on the latest update, but then you get more support issues as Sprint tweaks more things while trying to roll out the 4g smoothly.
I like the idiot proof script idea. I usually wipe 'til it hurts, but noobs seem to forget that step. Your script left all my apps and accounts intact so you must be only wiping cache and dalvik, right?
I can't believe you have to ask about adding a v6 supercharger - My thought is: yes please! (not sure how I'll test it but still....) My bluetooth test went well and I can't really find problems with anything you've done in this ROM. Just curious, have you found an easy way to do the "hostname" change thing ala CM and others?
 
Host name is s.o.l. till cm7...sorry....but I will add the v6 & script manager for easy access and can do a release on it later..we need to get the word out that this phone has options for roms..I think it's on sale at sprint for 9.99 lol...


Edit..I changed the lock screen...MUCH better now

I just left a post in the Conquer forum over at android central to let people know that ROMs exist. If they had a Conquer section at XDA, I'd leave a post there too.
On another subject - The thought occurs that your reboot issues might be as easy to fix as a big wipe and maybe even format the SD card. With as many times as you've prolly flashed something new on there, ANYTHING could have been corrupted....

awesome...i am uploading the new version now for a quick test...flash asap and let me know so i can release this bad boy and start with the finish touches on the next rom so i can get it ready for you to test.

The new version still shows no boot animation. I see sanim.zip in /system/media and it's populated with all the jpg files - so it should be workin'. I love the new lockscreen!!!
I'll do more testing and post my findings tomorrow.

Joy can only be accomplished with a functional CM7 base....i don't think that CM7 is finished yet....unless you know something i don't....we are working with so many phones its hard to keep up with the newest info.

The only CM activity for this phone that I'm aware of is here:

The Dev is working on a compatible kernel right now. This afternoon he asked for someone to post a logcat to help in the effort because his USB port croaked.
 
i had a reboot loop after startup, it happens before i can do anything about it (in the test version). So i went into cwr and wiped data (factory reset) then rebooted phone, and the WIN7 rom stoped rebooting. After the wipe and reboot the user apps such as titanium and andboot were uninstalled. All the system apps worked fine.

On another note for the contapps. I could not update in playstore says error "please uninstall old version first", i did so, but it still gave me the same message and the app didnt work afterwords but it remained as an installed app. I kept recieving some wierd sms pop up message from some random code number. Last but not least i was looking into the system apps what is Keytracer in the system apps?
